Based in South Africa, BST has been producing carbon fiber wheels for motorcycles since 2002 using aerospace engineering and materials.

The goal with the GP TEK was to build the lightest possible motorcycle wheel. Depending on fitment, the front wheels weight 3.9lbs and the rear weighs in only 5.29 lbs.

The hubs are machined from 6082 T6 aluminum, which is an allow in the aluminum-magnesium-silicon family. With the grade 5 titanium fasteners every weight saving possible was put into perspective.

BST has also introduced a new painted and serviceable coating in the rim of the wheel to protect the wheel from being damaged during tire changes.
